Psoriasis is a very common form of skin disease existent among people of all ages and
geographies. Its an inflammatory kind of disorder that normally affects the skin and the

by extreme sunburn.
Treatment of Psoriasis:
Treatment of psoriasis can be a very complex process as the disease is very unpredictable .it might recede at some period and again grow back within a day or two. Also medications might be useful for a certain person but for other persons it might not be the case.
Treatments can be of different kinds
1. Tropical Treatments: Tropical creams are enough to cure mild levels of psoriasis. But if the case is severe you might need to take drugs along with the creams. Different kinds of medicines include
1. Clobetasol propionate
2. Topical retinoids
3. Coal tar
2. Light Therapy: Here treatment is in the form of passing ultraviolet through the skin either through ultra violet light machines or through direct contact with sunlight.
3. Oral Therapy: Under serious cases the doctor might ask for the intake of several oral medicines. However these medicines have several serious side affects.
